Hearth Amplifiers is devoted to the century old tradition of handmade vacuum tube audio equipment in the form of guitar amplifiers & effects pedals. The original circuit designs are inspired by tubes and amplifiers through out the years. From the stylish tube outlines of the 1920’s & 1930’s to the slim miniatures of the 1940’s & 1950’s to the last great tube innovation, the function packed miniature compactrons of 1960’s.
The vacuum tube, valve, bottle or just plain tube is a more than an electronic device. These wonderful glass shrouded embers have been my inspiration for all the Hearth Amplifiers & Effects Pedals I have made. Providing a sweet tone, a glow, a warmth that become the essence of the amplifiers and effects pedals I craft for those who are looking for a unique sound with which to create their music. D.
